remember my old blogging days when i called spencer “the boy” and i didn’t post any pictures of his face? that was fun.

well, now that we’re married, and his good-looking face is no longer a secret, i think it’s about time i post some of the pictures i’ve been keeping to myself for the last two and a half years. a great way to get this blog back up and running, don’t you think?

we took the following photo [and the above photo of us together] with the help of the camera timer. it took about 10 tries before we got a photo i was happy with, and i kept apologizing to spencer for taking so long [we hadn't even known each other for a month]. he told me he didn’t mind–as long as it took. and that was when i knew he was a keeper.

and yes, that is a paper chain counting down the days until spencer returned. pathetic, i know.

we did it.

and the dress? yeah, i finished that at 8am on my wedding day.
